New Year
This year I’m not going to make any New Years Resolutions. I made a promise to myself in January to become healthier due to all the health problems my parents have had this year, and that’s what I’m going to stick with. I started off strong and around March got sidelined for 9 months for a very good cause. This has been a year of extreme highs and lows personally for me, as well as with Kama, who is one of my very best friends. I never got to know her dad, but I did her mom and I can say that it sure did hit me when I got back from lunch the other day to the email from Kama about her mom. As a lot of you know, I’ve almost lost my mom several times this year, and had to deal with her a$$ of a husband, all the while going through a high risk pregnancy that I never thought would happen. I’ve always wanted to have a baby, and to have my mom around to share in everything with me. I finally got my baby, and even though mom’s still around, she’s not the same… most days it’s like she’s in a shell. I am so incredibly greatful for finding BS and having the friends I found on here, I definitely would have had an even harder time dealing with everything if it weren’t for all of you! So now I move on to a new year and I get to watch my beautiful daughter grow and learn, and get to watch my mom deteriorate. The circle of life in person for me.
So I want to say a great big THANK YOU to all of my friends and buddies, and a special thank you to Kama, Anj, Tracey, Lori, Nancy, Betsy, Debbie, Pandora, Molly, and Linsey (wherever you are) who have been there with me since I joined, and a thank you to all the Wildcats and my other buddies who have been there as well.
Finding this website saved my life… Anj improved it even more by bringing me to the Wildcats!
So Happy New Year to all of my wonderful, fabulous, awesome friends, and I hope that 2009 is a better year for all of us!
I love you all!
